Yeah. Totally given up on Copilot now. At least for the Rust stuff I'm working on, it is totally unusable. It just seems to be *bad* at Rust generally. Maybe because it's a *comparatively* new language for which there is less content out there to train on steal.
Combine with the unfamiliar/unpopular domain I'm working with (TETRA protocol stuff), the propensity for it to hallucinate absolute horseshit is far too high. Everything it generates is either wrong from a language semantics perspective or wrong from a domain perspective.
