(disclaimer: this is mostly jokes)
As a C programmer who likes C and uses it deliberately for their own projects all the time, the Linux codebase is _so terrible_ that my normal distaste for the "Rewrite it in Rust" folks is overwhelmed by the desire for a Linux-compatible replacement in _any_ language.
Hell, I'd go for a Linux rewrite _in C_ if it existed
