You're not alone. I remember that day. My spouse called out from her computer, "maga is storming the capital building!" And I was like, "wtf?" Then both of us were glued to the live streams. I started researching "living after government collapse" looking for practical advice from people in other countries who have lived through coups and other violent governmental changes. I don't think I ate much that day. I could feel it throughout my whole body. The next several months felt surreal and untethered from time as we all watched the government not react like there was just an attempted insurrection.
