his spear choice makes a lot of sense as it combines the strengths of many different weapons. The weapons practice I've been studying over the years incorporates as much body martial skill and nimbleness as weapons skill. I started out feeling a lot of affinity for the regular staff and worked with two staffs at the same time at one point. Nowadays, I like the compactness and nimbleness of a double-edged straight sword, or even the double daggers.
