Japan is really ideal for public transport and cycling. I heard many good things about it. If I was offered to work there and live there I think I would. There are problems in Japan too of course like in every country but at least it would be more fun using your bike there or taking public transport and not relying on cars all the time. I'd learn the language too because it's nice. Though what I don't like is very strict conformity there and how being different is seen as being weird there, but tbh it's kinda the same everywhere nowadays. The politeness is good too but of course there is always someone who's gonna be rude every now and then for whatever reason.
