"A universal ‘Plug and Charge’ protocol for EV charging is coming in 2025"
The current fragmented EV charging landscape is a barrier to EV adoption. If this universal "Plug and Charge" succeeds, you'll roll up, plug in, and the billing happens automatically.
Add in dongle elimination and bidirectional charging (sending power back to the grid) and this feels like just what we need.
Will it survive? Flourish?
