This morning my wife says to me: “Do you want to come to lunch with me, my mom & stepdad tomorrow?”
I said: “No, I do not.”
Five minutes later, she says, “That’s totally Fked up that you won’t celebrate my mom’s birthday with us.”
I said, “You never even mentioned it was your mom’s birthday!”
You set yourself up to fail with that question. You should have said, “Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday. Do you want to come to lunch with us?” & I would’ve said Yes.
Instead, you gave me a completely context free option, I answered the question you actually asked, & now I’m the asshole for not knowing the question you meant to ask... WTF! 🤦🏻♂️
