apparently the police was working on a case study where they wanted to point out that elderly ethnically swedish men beat their wives a lot, but then a civilian analyst with access to internal case records made the discovery that the most common violent crime against women over 60 in sweden was rape by unknown person, and managed to trace it to a mass wave of rapes against ethnically swedish women in nursing homes and by caretakers in their own homes, the analyst finding _hundreds_ of cases but the unreported cases are assumed to be enormous
so far only 8 cases that happened this year have gone to court, with 7 out of 8 being MENA immigrants and the 8th being an older guy in his 60s with an italian name that knew the woman beforehand besides working as a nursing assistant, that wined and dined his way into her home before raping her
