If you walk your dog in public places (like my neighborhood) put your dog on a leash.
Ex. 1) There is an older lady on my block with a 187 year old Retriever. I get it. Your dog follows you around and wags his tail at everybody he meets. You are proud of this as an owner. Problem is, there is a thing called a Leash Law and now you are non-compliant and also announcing to other owners that they don't have to comply either.
Ex. 2) I saw a couple last night with their spry, and energetic dog - no leash. The dog was a good 50 ft behind them and they walked along as if that dog wasn't even theirs.
