But I fear he is heading for a very broken identity in adulthood that will take decades to heal from, despite the parents being seemingly aware of neurodiversity. Tbh they are neurospicy themselves too, but come from performance valuing super harsh families, it's fucked.

The kid is all mask already. Their solution is making sure the disabled kid can fully perform in our capitalist hell, no matter what it takes.
