Well, you'd think that by choosing a mature, well-established microblogging and self-publishing platform all the teething issues and weird kinks that were present, oh, 10-12 years ago, like redirect loops, poor SSL handling, and outright hostility to reverse proxies, would all be pretty well solved.
Spoiler alert: They aren't. I'm seeing the same stupid shit in 7.0 that was around in the bad old days. Redirect hell and 405 errors are still very much a thing and the amount of forum bandwidth devoted to "solving" these persistent failures is phenomenal.
And all this is above and beyond the stench that has been coming from the project since Mullenweg started his inane power plays and set about destroying the community.
Why is WP even still a thing?
