For the day job today, I spoke with two gentlemen doing fascinating things with materials chemistry.
One was a middle-aged professor, the other a newly minted PhD at the beginning of his career.
They were both friendly and cheerful and genuinely happy to talk to me about their work. And they explained in a way I could understand - big plus!
The Prof was part of the team who created the world's smallest test tube. I think he's still very chuffed!
