I’ve seen a lot of theories flying about. The most prominent ones being that this is to get rid of the buzz about the Epstein files. Maybe.
My theory is that the Greenland thing was injected into western manosphere and tech bro circles on social media by foreign powers around a decade ago, and that many US corporations are demanding more cheap rare earth materials. Like those in Ukraine, Venezuela, and Greenland. And who does the administration have closest to them? Internet tech bros, who are worshipped by the right wing public. One big echo chamber, with little seed ideas dropped in.
So if Russia were to covertly attack the US military base in Greenland with drones, the US would be right to load up on resources in the area. Effectively enabling a staging area for further action in the name of ‘securing’ Greenland.
Only it doesn’t need to be ‘Russia’. It could be anyone, including the US. And it’s probably not in Russian interests to do so.
An *unprovoked attack* by the US would draw European military retaliation, bringing US participation in NATO to an end, enabling Russia further in the European theatre. A reminder that the disillusion of NATO, the EU, and nuclear disarmament is an agenda pushed by both the far right and the far left... and hostile nation states. Sounds fishy, right?
So what’s the goal? Well, it’s the same goal as all propaganda misinformation operations. Create political turbulence. Making us fight each other, while allowing the fringes to align on actions that ultimately cause all of us the most harm.
