we're getting close to the end, but the game code is programmed to last forever (there's a hard-cap on the snake length)
what do we do?
keep the hard-cap: keep the hard-cap and let the game last forever or until a new version is ready (the score can still increase up to infinity)
remove the hard-cap: remove the hard-cap to allow for a definitive ending, but the new version might not be ready in time so the game will just restart
