A couple of weeks ago my little old cat had a big cut on her face which had an abscess underneath. It appears my much bigger and younger cat may have done it. She’s had stitches and is on antibiotics but they have to be separated because he keeps trying to attack her. He used to chase her but never anything like this 😭 I’m so lucky with my fabulous tenant who has been dealing with all of this while I’m away but now she’s done a wee and a pooh on the bed (after moving the covers aside 😬) even though she has a separate litter box. I feel so bad that he’s having to deal with this and I just don’t know what to do. It didn’t start until over a month after I left so I don’t think it’s a reaction to me going or the renter being there. Do I ask the vet if there’s any drugs I can give him? I don’t want to send him to a cattery or try and rehome him but I can’t keep having this much stress for Lucy or my poor tenant 😭
