Slight tangent: is there a more offline-friendly version of are.na, or a workflow for it?
I tried are.na when the idea of a Merveilles are.na channel came up a few years ago, but then noped out in part because I'm not getting locked into a SAAS thing again, no matter how good it is right now.
Maybe one could set up a local wiki (in Obsidian, Org, etc) and sync back and forth with a service.
...now that I think about it, that could be useful even for fedi, instead of relying on periodic exports, one could write all their posts offline and then upload them.
