Yesterday I discovered a genre of YT by Japanese people and I am still turning it around in my mind. The genre in question is "video of everyday things I do with subtitles in English of things that suck in my life", more or less. It's… I don't know, a part of me questions if these are not "a product" designed by an agency/studio, just as so many media in Japan, but I don't know what audience would it be targeted to.
