"content": "An abandoned ballroom, one of many that sit decaying in what once was East Germany.\n\nThe stunning late 1800s example retains most of its original features, from the mustard-coloured curtains that line the stage to the retro pendant light fitting hanging from the ceiling. Sadly, it suffered a fire a few months before my visit, and the smell of charred wood was still strong in the air.\n\n#Germany #EastGermany #Photography #History #LostPlace #AbandonedPlaces #Ballroom\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/116/118/494/102/048/063/original/d755e13bf2060c43.jpg\n",
