its hard to say if a negative experience is caused by the actual act, or by people around that person encouraging them to feel bad about it
if you look at countries where there is a lot less "panic" about these kinds of things, you tend to see people who report those experiences as positive.
i was maybe like 6 or 7 and interacting sexually with other kids, i don't say i can feel any harm to myself from that, if anything it was part of normal sexual development, and i guess how I knew that i liked girls
