I found out yesterday that apparently there are many grants that have been stuck in the "pending" stage (approved, but funding hasn't been released yet, according to the person I was talking to this is usually a maximum of 3 days) for month(s) now. But that at least one that this person knew of finally got released earlier this week. So if you have one in that state don't give up hope I guess?

I don't think this is the stage where someone from DOGE or a political appointee might be checking on things, I assume that's happening at an earlier point (though I could be wrong). So this might just be what happens when you get rid of the employees who do things like process paperwork and accounting and whoever is left at the NIH in those roles is just swamped.
