My father, who is in mid-80s, is purchasing his first smart phone today.

First call to me (from the cellular store): "Which is better: Android or iphone?"

Second call to me: "What is a gig? Do I need a lot of it?"

Third call to me: "The lady at the store says I need an email address to set up my phone. How do I get an email address?"

It's sad and shameful that cellular stores can't be better at handling customers like my father.
