What an insult.

“Soft Credit & Free Money – The Illusion of Prosperity”

When governments keep credit artificially cheap (low interest rates, easy lending) and then sprinkle “free money” bonuses like a $100 bill credit, they aren’t fixing the problem, they’re hiding it. Cheap credit conditions makes everything more expensive: housing, power projects, infrastructure. It fuels bubbles instead of building resilience. Then, when households are drowning under higher bills and rents, the government hands out a token payment and expects applause.

This isn’t prosperity. It’s a band-aid slapped on a bullet wound. It’s the same cycle that keeps Australians poorer while politicians pat themselves on the back.

And when it comes to “The Energy Trap” they create the scarcity in the first place!

The insult runs deeper with our energy at present. Our Governments deliberately limit the resources we can use, blocking nuclear, over-regulating gas, hobbling coal, and botching the transition to renewables with red tape and hyper grid mismanagement.

The result? Higher electricity prices for all, fragile supply, and blackouts waiting to happen. Instead of unleashing Australia’s enormous energy potential, cheap, abundant, competitive power, they choke it, then turn around with a “$100 Power Saving Bonus” as if that even begins to cover the damage. It’s like burning down your house, then giving you a tarp and expecting gratitude.

Australians aren’t fools. We can see that 100 doesn’t cover even a week of power for many families and our energy bills are inflated because of policy failure, not natural costs.
The Politicians create the scarcity, then buy our votes with pathetic crumbs.

This is not generosity. It’s gaslighting 101
