begonia planter update: the lobelia bit the dust, which was not a tremendous surprise. probably we got too much rain for it. however, the tradescantia went wild enough that i don't miss the lobelia after all. that vine is really a workhorse choice for summer planters. i may have to give it a haircut soon.
