That sounds exactly like my landlady. She has severe swelling in her lower legs-- cankles. She's a nurse and she's has heart arrhythmia too. Of course she was required by her hospital to be vaxxed.
I feel so terrible when she tells me about her health challenges. She isn't a friend and I feel unsure of what I should share with her. I'm praying for the right words and the right timing to speak to her and recommend the natto. She is under doctors care-- at the same hospital!
