oh so this might perhaps be the issue you were running into? I also tried installing Calf and could not find it listed in Carla.
I then uninstalled Calf and Cardinal, and then installed (via the terminal) the 24.08 branch/version. and voila, it suddenly works. The 25.08 ones for some reasons do not work and I am not sure why.
