The way stucco is done in the US, she has a point.
Outside my previous home there was a stucco wall separating my garden from the neighbors'. Being used to European construction, I thought that it was a solid wall.
But it turns out to be a series of chicken wire boxes with wood in the corners. Onto the chicken wire, the builders had smeared stucco. Look at it hard and it crumbles. Standard construction practice here. 🤷🏼♀️
