He talked about how he was ditched by his friend group in Barcelona because they found out stuff he had done in the past, and he implied that he had girl troubles for the same reason - but he continues to do the same thing. I think some people get addicted to voyeurism and so not putting "receipts" out there is something he just can't do. But in our era of persecution for ridiculous reasons or no reasons at all you would be nuts to invite this into your life.

The Cornell thing is a great example - we should have known the system would come up with something to cover up Lindsay Clancy and make women the poor victims once more. In fact the story may even be true about rape but it doesn't matter. There was an Arab guy who "raped" (likely consensual as it was likely in this frat case as well) a bunch of white girls when my friend was in grad school. Though the school found out about it, they did nothing about that nor cared. So they only pick these things up when there's some opportunity for outrage.
