The funny thing is that protestants accept Catholics to be Christian, but not all protestants are Christian to Catholics.
Baptists are just as out there to Catholics as Mormons are. Furthermore, Baptists preachers are the most likely to shit on almost every other non-Baptist protestant.
So we have this situation, not unlike the time following Christ's resurrection where Paul was trying to keep the church together.
