Well anyone can mine. So it can be as decentralized as there are people willing to put up the money and secure the energy to do so. I restarted mining both solo at home and via sazmining. I could have easily pointed some hash at oceans bip110 pool. Anyone mining could have done so. You think a bunch of plebs running a raspberry pi nodes should have more power than the people who have put real money into the ecosystem. I disagree.
I’ve spent 15k worth on miners and energy so far. Plus I run a node. I’m willing to impose my will on this network at a cost to me greater than a bunch of random Matthew kratter fans are willing to do. That makes my opinion carry more weight.
Miners will not support a change of Bitcoin that centralizes development under one person. That’s what bip110 does. As flawed as any project is Bitcoin core is far more decentralized than what we would get with Luke coin. Luke has wanted to change the POW for awhile now, why would miners support a change that gives Luke more power?
All you have left is crack pottery and conspiracy when the explanations are simple. Bip110 is not very good, and it would consolidate power into the hands of a person who is doesn’t like the miners. Of course miners would reject it.
