5/5 All's well that ends well-- didn't hurt myself, but I could have. And, I was alone on the mountain, with no one else was coming back that way to assist. In spite of the dramatic scene of me falling down the slope in sync with a falling tree, this was a simple self-rescue. However, it will stick in my memory as a reminder of how the unexpected can come from nowhere and happen quickly. END
