Having a child is very different than having a pet.

Children need interaction from their caregivers. They need to play games with you and talk to you and for you to care about their health and well being.

They are not little props that you buy clothes for and then ignore until it's time for them to be cute on your Instagram again.

If you are abandoning your responsibility to socialize your child, that's neglect.

Children are human beings with social, emotional, physical, and mental health needs. They are not tiny adults and should not be consuming hours and hours and hours of Tiktok.
