For an analogue (VDSL) we just did, we connected a socket that did not exist. So fault next day BT spent 4 hours getting the pair to the premises and connected.
To take over an FTTP and then fault (can't find it) could be an interesting exercise. Worth chatting to the sales team and see what they think.
