When my sis died in 2020, one of the things I did was go thru old photo albums and pull out 20-30 year old photo prints that nobody had looked at and most of which would mean nothing to anyone but my sister. Most were unannotated. I also took her certificates and diplomas, and some other personal things that there was no reason to preserve. (I've already done this with MY photos too.)
