One of my disagreements is that they're reading too far into it being a wedding. The same as non-RCC scholars saying the wedding alludes to the wedding of God and the Church (Israel), or Jesus being the bridegroom. I'm certain John was aware of at least the latter given the number of times Jesus the bridegroom is mentioned in the synoptics, but I honestly think he's just telling us about the wedding to establish that there was in fact a wedding going on.

As for Luke 2:19, from what I understand it's an expression used to say that the person remembered the events. Luke is essentially saying that Mary is an eyewitness to the events he's recording and that she is his source.

Perhaps my disagreement is with how the change in relationship was worded as it sounded to me like Mary was no longer Jesus' mother and instead His disciple which doesn't match up with other parts of John's gospel. We also don't know for certain that Jesus was being harsh, that expression can be interpreted a few different ways and may have been used to call attention to the fact that what Mary had asked goes beyond the situation at hand.
