Another day, another muddying of #science by idiotic injection of #AI #hype into scientific work by #ESA scientists.
There is not a single mention of AI in the paper; the scientists used semi-supervised learning (SSL) and active learning (by expert input) to train their neural network. But "science communicator" Andrea Gianopoulos decided to change that.
