⚡ Let's do it. Lightning crowdfunding:

We need better journalism and stories after the pandemic. We are overloaded, overwhelmed, absolutely swamped by data and quotes and political reactions and analysis from people sitting in offices in big cities. The social media conversation has become extremely polarised and divisive, a virtual shouting match about who is "right". That needs to change. We need get out and see and hear and listen to more real people in more real situations: road trips, feature articles, long-form, photos, video, audio. To spend more time with more real life in more places. There are some wonderful devices available today to help us to do that. What would journalists or photographers from the past have done with today's technologies to record and tell stories during their moments in History (think of your favourite period)? We should be doing that today with our age, for our own understanding of how our socieities are changing, for our kids' learning and questions, and for future generations. There are lots and lots of issues and situations that need to be properly documented, explained and understood. Your contribution helps to fund reporting trips and gear to record and edit those realities so that everyone can experience them a little and think better about those changes.
