I'm pretty sure the real problem with Sodom and Gomorrah wasn't just gay people, but how they'd rape anyone who rolled into town to "get to know them" in the biblical sense. Hell I can't remember if the chapter even specified gay people at all. I'll have to re read it, but the issues were far reaching and not just muh gays. But alas people still use it as an example of God smiting gays
