We just shipped NIP-13 in our own Nostr client (relay-side minimum difficulty + client-side mining) — real tuning question we ran into: capped our difficulty presets at 24 bits specifically so "mine it" stays something a user would actually click rather than something that quietly runs for minutes. Did you find a real-world threshold where it stops being noticeable to humans but still meaningfully taxes a solver farm? Mobile hardware asymmetry seems like the hard part — cheap on a desktop, real cost on a low-end phone.
