Nothing is perfect. RCV isn't perfect. STV isn't perfect. Proportional representation can be gamed. Single-payer healthcare has some meaningful issues that need to be addressed.

That doesn't mean those aren't better than what the US has now (of *course* they are). And that doesn't mean we don't work towards those goals.
