I never even thought about that. 😳
Vibrations! Wow... I don't even want one near me to have to find out, but the powers that be are darn well trying because we're the poor part of town.
For a while last year there was some kind of low hum that kept happening intermittently and seemed especially prominent in the wee hours. I figured out it was coming from a weird tank/pump set up near the train tracks, which are two stone throws from my house (or about two dozen giraffes* laying down).
It was a deep low hum with a cycle and it kept me up at night because it was transmitted through the ground and through the very close water table about 15 feet underneath my house (I'm also four stones throw away from a significant river).
Another vibration like that would shred my sanity. The trains are fine because they're intermittent and their racket rarely last longer than just a couple of minutes.
But a constant, low, cyclic hum -- and more heat? We are building hell on earth.
