There’s an archeological site in Britain called “the Coneybury Anomaly” (the anomaly part just refers to its discovery via magnetometer survey). It’s a refuse pit located near the modern site of Stonehenge, though it predates the monument. It’s filled with animal bones and little stone tools—the remains of a feast.

It dates back to just under 6,000 years ago. Britain at the time was populated by Western Hunter Gatherers, whom I discussed in my last thread. But farmers had just started arriving in Britain shortly before the pit was dug, descendants of those earlier farmers who migrated out of Anatolia.
