because it incentivizes cops deciding "that person looks like he shouldn't have cash," & they often decide that based on race (Black or Hispanic) or "that person is from a culture where i bet they have a lot of cash we could use" (Asian)
I am Asian (American). I see cops EVERY SINGLE DAY and they see me. None is after me.
