Well, 4 months after I emailed him about the SpaceX junk that fell in his riding, my MP just called me on a random Monday afternoon to talk about space junk and satellites. That was... a very weird phone call all around (and I have to say took a LOT of self-control to not just tell him that I disagree with pretty much everything he does...would not have helped with that already-weird conversation...) Maybe he'll actually bring this up more effectively than me to various gov't ministers?
