I really quite strongly feel that macOS's UX is significantly worse than Gnome 49. And I think that Gnome surpassed macOS's UX many years ago.
Maybe in the Gnome 2.x days this could maybe have been true to an extent, but Gnome's current interface paradigm is now 16 years old.
At this point I really don't think that the merits (or lack thereof) of Objective C have anything to do with it.
