Remembering a quote from my old jump master Al Zeitz talking about people who'd stay home on cloudy days because they weren't sure they could go skydiving: "You can't jump if you're not at the dropzone".
You can't fish if you aren't there with a rod. You have to show up.
Of course, as someone who goes into the lab even when they don't think there will be a breakthrough, I kind of figured you'd internalized this long ago.
