I have an esoteric medical opinion about Tylenol that no one talks about:
Tylenol is a dangerous drug, it's the leading cause of acute liver failure. People take it while drinking alcohol, making it worse. Tylenol is not an effective painkiller, it's therapeutic index crosses over into the range of it becoming mildly toxic.
The concept of Tylonel 1, 2 and 3 is extremely cynical. It's the same dose of acetaminophen with a differing does of codeine. The acetaminophen is treated as a "safety mechanism" against abuse, ie. it'll give you liver failure if you take too many.
Tylenol is not safe or effective.
