jonnnykanone on Nostr: Everything is in motion. There is nothing you can see, hear, touch, or hold that does ...
Everything is in motion.
There is nothing you can see, hear, touch, or hold
that does not change.
A flower rises from the earth,
unfolds in color,
then slowly bends, fades,
and returns to the soil.
Even what appears solid and unmoving
is never still.
A chair, a stone, even a mountain
is in constant motion,
its particles vibrating,
shifting,
breaking apart over time.
All that the senses perceive
is subject to birth and death,
to growth and decay.
If everything we can see is changing,
what is it that never changes?
What is truly real,
beyond the reach of time?
