Yeah, that's the unfortunate part about it, but I used to seem to get decent speeds... or at least, decent enough to be able to use the full privacy mode without image and video enabled. Now I have to keep it only enabled for things like untrusted relays, media uploads, zaps and so forth. In other words, I'm only able to keep it enabled for things that don't require the highest speeds to be functional.
