Yes and no.
Zapstore has additional layers to nost - ify repositories. It's not a bad setup, IMO. I just don't need the extra complexity.
F-droid does a lot of interpolation and some things under the hood that some people don't like, but it is the largest collection of FOSS or FOSS adjacent apps so they are still useful.
