X (formerly Twitter) just C&D'd Nitter / XCancel: just a lil privacy frontend for reading(!) tweets: no JS, no ads, no account, your browser never spoke to Twitter. That meant no IP tracking and no JS fingerprint. Not even posting #FreeSpeech™ - just fckg seeing someone's speech without being logged.
That's the thing they shut down.
Killing that is a new low.
Surveillance always needs fresh blood.
VPN/Tor users (like me) are probably next.
